Letter to Screamin' Sam from Bill Kinison (Sam Kinison's brother): Sent 3 years ago after they first met in LA.  Bill Kinison and Screamin' Sam are now great friends.

"It has been awhile since I posted so I thought I would take this opportunity. Screamin' Sam was just out in the LA area and I spent several days with him. I found him to be very nice, respectful and considerate. Never one time that we spent together did he dress like Sam, scream like Sam, etc. He happens to be a person that looks remarkably like Sam. I had him to my home several times and felt very comfortable around him. I have read people post admiration and criticism about him. He is a person that if we did not have Sam as our common bond that I would still want as a friend.

As far as impersonating Sam, it doesn't bother me. Remember, imitation is the highest from of flattery. Some do it good and some do it poorly but for each of them I believe they are showing you how much they honored and revered the man. As far as the movie, everything is going as it should, but it does take time to make a quality project and that is what all of us that are involved in this project are trying to do. Again, I would like to thank John (his real name) for the opportunity that I had to meet and spent time with him. And yes, for you that are curious I did call him Sam a few times before I caught myself. Love to all."
